Turn Out The Lights

The Party is Over

The houses are dark...

The sky is grey...

Here in New Orleans

Life has gone away...

The schools are shut...

The kids don’t play...

Where is everyone...

Why didn’t anyone stay...

The music is gone...

And so is the food...

No one wants to play chess

So where the hell is Jude...

The office buildings are closed...

No one is at work...

City Hall is so corrupt

And the mayor is a jerk...

The streets are quiet...

The tourists are no more...

Someone turned out the lights

And locked the door...
