Turn Off The TV

Sometimes life is easier to perceive,

Through television's eyes.

The world broken down into pixels,

A censored disguise.

Material reality transformed

Emptiness erased from life.

No work is needed in a perpetual cycle

Avoiding internal strife.

I wonder if people would change

By turning off their tv.

Maybe boldly face their choices

Accepting their reality.
