True Love!

'The world is ending,' she sighed,

'I saw it in a dream last night.'

He chuckled, 'Don't be silly, dear,

The world is fine, there's nothing to fear.'

'But I saw it all,' she pleaded,

'The sky turned black, and trees all bleed.'

'Dreams are just dreams,' he said with grace,

'Your imagination has run its race.'

'But what if it's true?' she whispered low,

'What if the world's about to go?'

He held her hand, 'We'll face it then,

Together, we'll conquer every end.'

'But what if we don't?' she choked with fear,

'What if there's nothing left but tears?'

He kissed her brow, '-Don't worry, my love,

Our love will conquer all, like a dove.'

'-You make me, feel safe,' she whispered light

'Even if the world turns black as night.'

'And you make me feel whole,' he replied,

'My love for you, forever will abide.'

'So, maybe you're right,' she said with a smile,

'We'll face the end together, for a little while.'

He held her close, 'The world may end,

But our love will never have an end.'
