The tree stands proudly

A whiff of wind kisses its leaves

Branches whirl slowly.

On hot Summer days

Scorched limbs bow in agony

As shriveled leaves fall.

Warm autumn colors

Reflect in a nearby pond

From blanketed dirt.

The sweetness of spring

The scent of fresh beginnings

Trees put forth new growth.

Let us not deny that we all embark on magical journeys in our heads. The only crazy thing is pretending the other worlds don't exist when we should tell their stories instead.
