Tree

A meeting place of lovers

By CrissziaPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

I close my eyes, and I can still see,

Your smile, your laughter, so vividly.

The gentle touch of your hand in mine,

A love that transcended space and time.

The rustle of the leaves, a bittersweet sound,

Echoing the moments when you were around.

The tree stands tall, a sentinel of our love,

A witness to our journey, with blessings from above.

Though you're gone, your spirit remains,

In the rustling leaves, in the gentle rains.

In this sacred place, I find solace and peace,

As memories of you, like whispers, release.

Underneath this tree, where our love grew,

I'll forever remember, and honor you.

With each visit, a connection maintained,

A love eternal, forever ingrained.
