Trapped

Poem 1

I wonder why I die every night

While drinking the vicious venom

You mended for me ,

A mix of intimacy and enmity.

Your arms form around my body ,

A snake swirling around my neck

Swearing that his touch is full of love

But my lips in the mirror are becoming blue.

How can I move on

From a love that is anchoring me

To the bottom of the deepest ocean?

How can I let go?

You were a temptation I knew was forbidden

But the excitement enthralled me

So how can I accept turning the page

Knowing you’re not in the new chapter?
