Pay my rent or student loans

I’m low on insulin or student loans

Was it worth it or should I let it go

I mean my goals aspiration and American dream goals

It is a vampire that sucks us up with lies and tales that

Are more false then the orange skinned president

They tell you that

“You will find a job within six months”

At the end don’t make enough to pay your bills at the end of the month

They throw you the application like a bone to a dog

Many chased their own tail with their words that turned up to be baroque

You figure out that they treat you like a first date

Until it’s six months after graduation and they then want a divorce and your relationship to terminate

Eating Ramen for five days straight

Applying for jobs that want years of experience to be more than 8

Mortgage or student loans

Dodge the calls

Because collections knows the number to all the phones

At the end of the day minus bills, rent, loans and everything between

You end up making less than minimum wage and that’s at a bargain

Now you’re trapped

Can’t return this

Can life be shrinking wrapped until I can get out of this mental crisis

You are like a beautiful first date

Long hair

Painted nails

Measurements that would make most men's heads turn

But by the next morning

Half the hair was not real

All the nails broke of which is unnatural

Socks in her bra and injections in her booty

Then you found the condom broke which is gloomy

Now you have to pay the next 18 years

Can’t return it

Some try to run from it

You birthed an education that you thought you could grow from

In reality just ended up something you need to get a divorce from

Travel

Nope student loans

Car loan

Or student loans

Second job to pay those student loans

While that education you birthed turns into brittle bones
