Transition is a journey we all must take,
A winding road, a path we make,
A metamorphosis, a chrysalis break,
A chance to grow, to learn, to wake.
Like a caterpillar in its cocoon,
We shed our old selves, our past marooned,
And emerge transformed, like a butterfly boon,
With wings to soar, and new life strewn.
The winds of change blow fierce and strong,
Like a storm that rages all day long,
But we weather it with grace and song,
And find the courage to carry on.
Transition can be scary and unknown,
Like a dark forest where we're alone,
But we find our way, like a compass shown,
And make it through, like a seed that's sown.
It's a dance between the old and new,
Like a tango with steps that we must pursue,
But we find our rhythm, like a drumbeat true,
And move forward with grace and virtue.
Transition is a river that flows,
Like a current that ebbs and grows,
But we navigate it, like a boat that knows,
And reach the shore, like a rose that glows.
It's a bridge between who we were and who we'll be,
Like a tapestry woven with threads of destiny,
But we find our pattern, like a symphony,
And create a masterpiece, like a legacy.
Transition is a phoenix rising from the ashes,
Like a rebirth that transforms and clashes,
But we soar high, like an eagle that flashes,
And find our purpose, like a light that flashes.
It's a fire that burns within our souls,
Like a flame that ignites and controls,
But we use it to fuel us, like coals,
And reach new heights, like lofty goals.
Transition is a journey of the heart,
Like an adventure that sets us apart,
But we find our way, like a work of art,
And create a life, like a brand new start.
So let us embrace transition with open arms,
Like a lover who's found their charms,
And let it transform us, like a magic balm,
Into the best version of ourselves, like a healing calm.
