"A Moment of Beauty in Transit"

On the bus I sat, head up high,

Caught a glimpse of a girl, caught my eye.

Her smile, a bloom, so sweet and fair,

Her eyes, like pools, I couldn't help but stare.

As the bus rolled on, time flew by,

Heart raced fast, I couldn't deny.

In her gaze, lost without a clue,

Feeling light, like floating on a dew.

"Her face, a canvas, a work of art"

In that crowded space, she stood apart.

But alas, she moved, out of sight,

Gone from my view, vanished from light.

Now I sit alone, with memories,

Of those eyes, like stars in the skies.

With the song playing softly in my mind,

A bittersweet moment,

forever enshrined.
