Transformation's Beauty
Shedding The Scales
She unequivocally scattered and blurred all the lines
Shedding the strict form of her nature
Blending them frantically until she combined
The perfect image, her portraiture
Her skin scaled and shed, dying and dead
Curling and forming the shape of her face
The courage hidden inside her frame also spread
Into the image she chose to embrace
For far too long she portrayed a victim
Her thin skin made it easy to see
The many ways he used her affliction
Not knowing that she held the key
Until the floodgates of providence broke open
And the vile poison poured from her veins
The ribs on the horns were an omen
She was more than able to carry the reigns
Protected and safe from past duty
She emerges the queen of her fate
In the fullness of time found her beauty
From the loved soul she chose to create
