Train To Love

Poem

Seems I missed the train to love.

For romance, I'm no longer bound.

Is that steam or rainclouds above?

Either way, sadness has been found.

Looks like I didn't get on the carriage.

The journey I could have made.

The destination was advertised as a strong marriage.

If only that train had been delayed.

The raincloud moved along the track.

Towards the train's direction.

At first I did not understand this act.

I could not make the connection.

The sun beamed through with a delighted glow.

He said to me 'Don't not fear, Paul.'

After all you can't lose what you don't know.

It was destiny that you missed the call.

You'll find love in my beams.

As I warm your heart.

You'll feel the caress of the running streams.

As it paints your skin like art.

You'll have the kiss of the rain.

Not all rain is made to chill.

You'll be happy again.

With plenty of time to fill.

That train was destined for an awful land.

Filled with betrayal and sin.

Soon enough you'll understand.

Then the true love can begin.
