Touching All My Senses

You ignite them all

I've come to really like you

In a special sort of way

You have touched all five senses

So, there is something I must say

I’ll explain it in some detail

And see what you have to say

Β  πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’™πŸ’›

When it comes to visual senses

I gaze on your beauty every day

Your beauty is amazing

Your eyes light up my everyday

I want to look at you forever

In a kind and loving way

Β Β  πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’™πŸ’›

If I close my eyes, I hear your voice

It echoes all your love

The music of a symphony

Blessed by someone from above

Tell me once again, it's true

That you’re the one I love

Β Β  πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’™πŸ’›

I’m captivated by your smell

The sweet scent of your perfume

Blended with what’s part of you

Reminds me of a rose in bloom

I tell myself to be patient

But I want to smell you again soon

Β Β  πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’™πŸ’›

It is hard to go past the taste

The sweet, salty taste of your skin

When I’m with you, holding you tight

I don’t know where to begin

I can’t go past your sweet-tasting lips

That’s where we usually begin

Β Β  πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’™πŸ’›

I can’t go past how soft you are to touch

I left the best till last

You’re velvet cheek, your soft, long hair

The day I walked up and asked

Could I hold your hand in mine

A feeling that will always last

Β Β  πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’™πŸ’›

Yes, every single sense of mine

You have managed to excite

Sight, smell, sound, taste and touch

Each note is a pure delight

I look forward to that time once more

To explore each of my senses tonight

Β  πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’™πŸ’›

Till next time,

Calvin
