Touch of Love

We all yearn for that touch, we all hunger for that kiss

That feeling of fire and ice on your skin is what I have missed

Not one of my chapters has this written on its pages

My map of skin has no imprint of that touch of an angel

That touch of love, that magic of passion, that lust for an embrace

I long for that wave of sensation, I pray for that closeness of heartbeats

Once my heart is given then it will be for forever so I protect it with shards

If I open its doors that means no holds are barred

When I give the key, it will be deserved

It is cut for one person and one person only

My tears have no tales of painless love

All grains of sand have stains of sorrow and suffering

One day that touch will come… until then… I find the love in me
