Too many options

Word salad

The choices to respond with

Still no one understood

It is good to be smart

but it is a curse when being smart

leads to being bad with people

Too many options

A single word off

Said the wrong way

It's not what was meant

The tired excuse I give

Unsure if that is true

To think for hours

Trying to perfect reasoning

It is awful, paralyzing

Yet unable to speak

Could not,

for now no one was there to listen

They've left long ago

To alter the past

Isn't the same

The moment is lost

sad poetry
