So many faces in my hand,
A sea of smiles across the land.
A thousand wins, a "Match!" so bright,
It fills my lonely screen with light.
With every swipe, a brand new chance,
To start a brand new, perfect dance.
But when the talking's meant to start,
I feel a panic in my heart.
What if I choose the one who's wrong?
What if a better one comes along?
This one's funny, that one's smart,
I can't decide, it breaks my heart.
So all the matches wait in line,
A frozen, digital design.
I'm stuck with all this endless choice,
And no one gets my real, true voice.
For when you have a thousand "maybes,"
No one turns into a "please."
The more I have, the less I see,
The less there's ever just for me.
