… somewhere in the distance I heard the ending bell ring

Darkness settles on the pundits as they do their thing

And on TV they say it is just the start of the fight

There’s a cast of thousands denying

The cold truth in plain sight

But it’s too late, too late, too late

(Too late) too late for change

The Left is panicked, Joe’s failure was grand

They’ve a pocket full of promises, that are believed by no man

They’ve a meat puppet, that stands before them

It does a dance and says, that he can win

But it’s too late, too late, too late

Too late for change

Too late, too late, it’s too late, too late

… oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh

Standing in the shadows thinking you can’t see

They work the meat puppet for the masses glee

Believing the propaganda that sounds oh so cool

But when it comes to truth they play you for a fool

But it’s too late, too late, it’s too late, too late for change

Too late, it’s too late, too late, too late

Oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh

It’s a little too late

Oh, oh

Much too late

Oh, oh

You see, it’s all to late

Yeah, it’s too late

Too late, too late, too late

It’s too late for change

Too late, too late, too late

Too late

Too late, too late, too late

it’s too late for change

Too late, too late, too late
