Tomorrow Still Believes
Like we believe deep in our hearts in us

Tomorrow Still Believes
The night may come with heavy steps,
It may forget the light it knew,
The wind may turn its face away,
And leave the heart to battle through.
The stars may fade, the sky may fall,
The clocks may slow, the fire may pale,
But something deep within the soul,
Still hums a tune that will not fail.
We’ve walked through seasons, cold and cruel,
Through laughter’s ghost, through silent rooms,
We’ve held our hopes with trembling hands,
And fed them softly through the gloom.
The roads we take are never kind,
They twist through sorrow, break our pride,
Yet still we rise, we mend, we breathe,
For life refuses to subside.
The mirror changes year by year,
Each line a tale, each scar a prayer,
We lose some names, we lose some dreams,
But find new strength still waiting there.
The child we were still sleeps inside,
Beneath the tired, the grown, the worn,
It wakes sometimes with laughing eyes,
To show us where the heart was born.
And even when the light grows faint,
And even when the will is small,
A single spark within the dark,
Reminds us we can stand at all.
Tomorrow waits beyond the door,
It does not ask what we have done,
It only whispers, “Try again,”
And greets us gently with the sun.
So let the storms come if they must,
Let time erode, let shadows grieve,
For still the dawn will find our hearts,
Because tomorrow still believes.
