To the Soup, My Friends! Tonight We Dine in Warmth and Peace!
Distraction Challenge Number Two
Distraction challenge number two
Imagine you are in a bowl of warm and comforting soup, the kind that helps make winter easier
Something creamy and morish like cullen skink or cock-a-leekie
There's chunks of smoked salmon and vegetables or maybe chicken and leek
Random confetti of parlsey, thyme or even some rosemary
As you sit in your soupy bath, pondering life, the universe and everything, you realise there's nothing really more important than, the here and now, in your soup
Can you remember the last time you truly felt free from the anxieties that yesterday and tomorrow bring?
There is so much in the world these days that hinders the overall experience, rather than enhance it
Imagine how it would feel in a big bowl of soup - no smartphone, no bills, no work commitment or unemployment worries, no econimic crisis
Only you, your chunks of chicken and leek or fish and vegetables in a perfectly seasoned and 'baby bear just right' soup
Now you know what you need to, no...must do - to the soup my friends, tonight we dine bathe in warmth and peace!
