To the Soup, My Friends! Tonight We Dine in Warmth and Peace!
Distraction Challenge Number Two
Distraction challenge number two
Imagine you are in a bowl of warm and comforting soup, the kind that helps make winter easier
Something creamy and morish like cullen skink or cock-a-leekie
There's chunks of smoked salmon and vegetables or maybe chicken and leek
Random confetti of parlsey, thyme or even some rosemary
As you sit in your soupy bath, pondering life, the universe and everything, you realise there's nothing really more important than, the here and now, in your soup
Can you remember the last time you truly felt free from the anxieties that yesterday and tomorrow bring?
There is so much in the world these days that hinders the overall experience, rather than enhance it
Imagine how it would feel in a big bowl of soup - no smartphone, no bills, no work commitment or unemployment worries, no econimic crisis
Only you, your chunks of chicken and leek or fish and vegetables in a perfectly seasoned and 'baby bear just right' soup
Now you know what you need to, no...must do - to the soup my friends, tonight we dine bathe in warmth and peace!

Imagine how it would feel in a big bowl of soup - no smartphone, no bills, no work commitment or unemployment worries, no econimic crisis. This would be so wonderful! Did you realise the ocean is one big soup? Lol!
Ok, that was divine! How do I make a soup bath? Going to need a lot of chicken and even more leeks! I had a lot of mixed emotions here– there are some really great little lessons sprinkled throughout and I found myself on a pendulum of agreeing wholeheartedly and then giggling! This was a truly lovely little experience. You totally captured the comfort of a bowl of soup (one of my absolute favorite foods)! Now I need donuts and soup. Donut soup? hmmm...
I agree. Soup over all the nonsense in the world would be amazing 😍
Hahah can’t say I’ve ever imagined what it’s like to be in a bowl of soup before (until now) 😂 10/10 for creativity
Delightful, tasty, and comforting. Sometimes 'distraction' is synonymous with 'hindrance' but you reminded us that is it can indeed be a welcomed soupy bath too. Great writing!
I have a whole new perspective on one of my favorite comfort foods! Thanks!
That was great, and it's really hot here today, so I am already bathing in a bowl of soup.
Great writing 📝 paul❗😉
Ok this one elicited many LOLs 🤣🤣🤣 🍩 🥐 🍜
