To Plunder and Loot!?

Q8

By James GreenPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

"Heave ho!" The rowdy bunch hailed on the decks of the ship.

"To the edge and back again!" Another quipped.

"Let us plunder and loot!" Another began to flute.

"Aren't they the same thing?" Another chimed in.

"Quite! Scoundrel. Get to mopping the decks."

"I thought we were leaving?"

The bunch turned their necks.

"Are you causing trouble, boy?" The captain said out loud.

"Not at all, sir. But..."

"Shut up!" Another butted in and bowed.

"Excuse him, captain. He's still wet behind the ears. He'll learn in good time."

"To the captain! Three cheers!"

As the ship set sail to adventures unknown, the captain looked over at his men from his thrown; the troublesome boy waved at the captain with a mop in his hand; the captain glanced at the boy steely-eyed, teeth jammed.
