I loved you when you acted like a villain,

I loved you when you moved on quickly with someone else,

I loved you when you gave me no explanation to every question I had,

I loved you when you ghosted me for months,

I loved you in silence,

I loved you because, even though my head told my heart it does not deserve to be in broken pieces, my heart responded to it by saying that if it did not quit you then there would be hope that the broken pieces would become beautiful and happy if you stayed by my side.

But it turns out, even without you, the pieces of my heart have become beautiful, and I made it that way because I create my happiness, not you.

The pieces of my heart loved you, but they didn't need you for me to feel complete.
