To Like, To Love, and To Live
Learning that true happiness begins where the need to change someone ends
You genuinely liked each other and truly wanted to be together.
However, you gradually realized that true liking isn't just about the initial attraction; it also requires accepting the later feelings of dislike.
Being together isn't just about being in love; it also means being able to live together.
You wanted to change each other, and you were expected to change in return. These demands easily escalated into arguments. After those fights, you discovered that while there were many reasons for your conflict, perhaps only one remained:
You weren't actually compatible.
It wasn't about infidelity, but about understanding.
It wasn't about deception, but about being willing to face reality.
He may have hurt you, but at least he didn't continue deceiving you.
Incompatibility is a terrible, but very real, reason.
Only by accepting incompatibility can you each pursue true happiness.
