To Believe In The Future
To plant a seed
is to believe in the future
to believe in the routine
nourishment
will bring about
the juicy fruition
of something
beautiful and healing
to behold.
The fruit that bears
the next generation
of change and healing.
A cycle that happens
regardless of the day to day
barriers.

Waterfall of Words
The words
are spilling out
like a waterfall.
Gushing over the edge
the roaring rush of water —
strong
enough to sweep you away.
The sense of calm and serenity
behind a curtain of such force
hidden away
from the rest of the world.
Yet other times
the words trickle out
as if rationed:
drip,
drop.
