to be weak for each other

it could be so simple

By Daniel KPublished 10 months ago Updated 10 months ago 1 min read

i am a dotted line, you tore me at the perforation,

weary is the wolf inside me bound by chains,

i have loved you past the point of perspiration.

</3

i have invoked your name upon every constellation,

self-destruction has me tucked beneath the rains,

i am a dotted line, you tore me at the perforation.

</3

my longing clings to you in ruinous conservation,

your memory is the architect of all my pains,

i have loved you past the point of perspiration.

</3

i’ve frozen your last goodbye in quiet preservation,

your voice stretches miles across my barren plains,

i am a dotted line, you tore me at the perforation.

</3

your absence pulls my soul toward its solemn termination,

until a diluted version of me is all that remains,

i have loved you past the point of perspiration.

</3

with you not around, i spend my days in silent rumination,

i cannot escape you, the obsession runs through my veins,

i am a dotted line, you tore me at the perforation,

i have loved you past the point of perspiration.

About the Creator

Daniel K

I write love poems about the girl who has a hold over my heart and my life in such a way that neither are my own anymore. The girl I would choose over and over and over again. I love her, and that is the beginning and end of everything.
