In the shadows of the city's streets, A lonely boy wanders and weeps. His parents, gone without a trace, Left him to fend for himself in this place.

He begs for scraps from passerby, His stomach growls, he lets out a sigh. He longs for love, a warm embrace, But all he finds is a cold, hard place.

The nights are long, the days are cold, He shivers as he grows old. His heart is heavy, his soul is torn, He wonders why he was ever born.

He dreams of a life with love and care, Of a family to hold him near. But as the days turn into years, He faces his fears and sheds his tears.

For he knows that he's alone in this fight, And the pain he feels will never be right. He longs for a life that's happy and bright, But all he knows is the darkness of night.

So he keeps on wandering, hoping to find, A love that's true, a heart that's kind. But until then, he'll live in despair, A boy without parents, living in the street, hungry for love and care.
