My favorite thing about life
Is that it made up of two dates and a dash,
The date you were brought here
And the date that you leave here,
In between that is the dash
And it is during the dash that we
Make the most of it,
Our fears
Our loves
Our passions
And our sorrows,
They all happen within our dash
Our faults
Our merits
All within this fleeting dash,
Although this dash is quick
We must remember to stop and simply
Walk along our path,
To enjoy the sounds
The sights
The feelings
So make the most of the dash.

Snow Need to Rush
I watched my breath form a small white cloud as it puffed out of my lips and dissipated before my eyes. I rubbed my hands together, blowing into them with the precious bit of warm air that remained in my lungs. My leg bounced as I stared into the cold dark world beyond the windows of my truck as they remained partially fogged up.
