Time in Unequal Installment Payments
You have to fly
Love that came too late
the break-up that happened too soon
they taught me that you have to fly first
to then understand the collapse
I saw that love is not always love
the unripe imagination slips and plays dangerously with feelings
and that flight that just seemed to be happening in reality
it was just an adventurer's getaway
who wanted to see the world in other shades
when silence abandons it
the pain held in captivity
escapes from confinement
all over the body
it crushes him from inside
just like serrated wheels
and the body becomes drunk
from so much suffering
it is the moment from which
the hours are not equal anymore

A Few Moments More
You’ll give it one more minute, and then you’re headed back inside. It’s pretty chilly out, after all. Not that that’s a real issue - you’ve stood out here for longer, and in colder weather. The snow is nearly gone already; tiny, dirt-stained islands of the stuff form a shrinking archipelago dotting the sea of green that is your backyard. Striations of sunlight dance through the trees at the edge of the woods and paint the scene in a camouflage of brown, green, and gold.
