Time

"Reflections on the Inescapable Passage of Time"

By thamee 16Published 4 years ago • 1 min read

Time, the elusive concept we chase,

A fleeting moment that we cannot replace.

It marches on without a care,

Leaving us to wonder where

All those precious moments go,

The ones that passed by, oh so slow.

Sometimes it's a friend, sometimes a foe,

Time can bring joy, or leave us feeling low.

It ticks away without a sound,

Never pausing, never slowing down.

It moves in ways we cannot see,

An unstoppable force that will always be.

We try to hold it, to make it stay,

But time slips through our fingers each day.

We wish for more, to make things right,

But time moves on, and takes flight.

So let us cherish every moment we share,

For time is fleeting, and oh so rare.
