Tied to a star
Short and sweet -- a love poem to my heart--my husband and daughter.

Do you know why I love you so?
It is not tidy or neat,
not to tuck safe in a box.
It is not easy to say in a word,
or wrap with a bow,
but you are the one
to me and to her.
With us, life has hope.
It has more.
We can sink on the land,
or dip in a pool.
Fly to the moon,
or land on Mars.
In ice or on fire,
our unit, tied to a star.
