Tidal Love

To love with clarity

Is to love with roaring intensity.

When I discovered that I hold a unique affection for you,

When I understood your soul through your eyes,

My waves of love surged tumultuously,

Overwhelmingly passionate, enveloping you,

And calling out,

"I love you."

If your vessel of love trembles because of me,

Then dare to admit,

You love me too.

I'd sweep everything aside,

Toss your love boat into the ocean of my affection,

Merge you and me into one everlasting unity,

Until the end of time,

Until the seas dry up, and rocks decay.

But, if you waver and hesitate,

The tidal wave of my love would only surge forward,

Not lingering for anyone.

My love boat sails on your ocean of love.

If you love me,

Let your love's wave violently topple me over.

Otherwise,

I'd gently glide over your skin,

Leaving not a trace of emotion behind.
