There is a room in my head,

Where only my feelings live;

In that room is an empty space,

That makes me feel lonely,

And disgraced.

In this room are many feelings,

That nobody would ever know,

A feeling of nothing,

But an empty void.

Some days, I think I have nothing

left in this world,

My tears are just invisible pools,

Though they still trickle like the

lonely river.

There is noone else,

In this lonely room,

Inside my head,

Only I and my thoughts,

Pouring into my lonely

consciousness,

Screaming in my mind.

I could walk around this lonely room

all day,

Hide in the comforting invisibility of

darkness;

But,

The sun still shines outside of my mind,

And,

Who will care if I'm not there?

Maybe this room isn't lonely at all,

The world can feel wrong when things

don't seem right.

The moral is;

If we fill the world with love and care,

Our lonely rooms inside our heads;

Will fill with caring company.

When all that is left is sorrow,

Love can be our greatest companion.
