This Eternal Man

When you realize that you are timeless

you do not care

about the small things

that shatter the hearts of mortal men...

and women,

trapped in time and space.

For this great dream that the blind

call reality

and the fearful call

the launch pad to heaven from Earth,

ceases to threaten

every human being

who has not been born

and will never die.

Sophia changes ignorance and fear

to light, and love,

and endless struggle

to the dance of the Beloved

just playing Her tricks again.

Move a little closer, Beloved.

Let me look into the eyes

that pierce my illusions

and threaten to kill but the husk of

this eternal man

who moved beyond the world of creation

and destruction

and became one with every,

single thing that is You.
