I tattooed your very name on my neck.
Wrapped in a bleak blanket, feeling like a wreck.
Oh, the havoc you’ve caused me so many nights…
Now, you’re gone.
Who would have murdered you?
The shock pierces like an icicle in the middle of my heart.
My children.
Your children, they don’t have a biological father now.
Your life was precious.
Every day of your thirty-three years.
Even though you caused me pain beyond measure,
I still loved you in a way,
and now, you’re just gone.
