Things I left Unsaid

I walked out without a word

By Astone ZuluPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
I created my canva relating to as the words that left unsaid built something within me.

The echoes of my silence stay,

Drifting softly, night and day.

Words I held but never spoke,

Like whispers wrapped in curls of smoke.

I never said, "I needed you,"

Or that your touch could pull me through.

I never let my heart explain

Why I still searched for you in rain.

The letters I began to write

Lay folded, hidden from the light.

Each line a truth I feared to show,

A love I lost but couldn’t let go.

Now memories knock—too late, too loud,

A voice dissolved into the crowd.

If I could turn the time instead,

I'd say the things I left unsaid.

We have walked out in many situations without a word being said, not that we were weak but because our sum total of feelings was heavy than words could convey
