gray is the sky, that's consuming the day

oh, for an escape, somewhere, far away

on a beach, in the sand, by the water somewhere

still, when I open my eyes, I find, I'm still here

I'd love to shirk all these duties and find time to play

but I'm bound to the toils that we all have to pay

imprisoned here, chainless, to a bottomless void

to cover the dailys that keep us employed

damn that accountability, being responsible begs

I need a reason to diet, and shave the hair from my legs

instead, I will live like a troll, tucked up, under my bridge

eating the remnants that remain in my fridge
