looking at the blank screen and wondering

what happened to all the brilliant words inside of me

where did the inspiration go

why won't the ideas just flow

I'm panicking now because I know

that the ideas come and go

but the ideas come when I can not go

save then an share then with everyone

I know that writing for a living is dream

but for now I'm working in the machine

Will I ever achieve my dream

will I make it a reality

how can it be a reality

if my brilliant words continue to escape me

against all odds

it seems impossibly hard

but I do believe

that my dream has wings

one day it may fly into reality
