The Words You’ll Never Hear

Whispers of Love Never Spoken

By Olajumoke Oyeniyi-lasisiPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
Silent words that echo in the heart, a love too deep for spoken bounds

Beneath my heart, a tiny spark,

You move in shadows, soft and dark.

A whisper blooms, a fragile prayer,

These are the words you’ll never hear.

I speak of skies you’ve yet to see,

Of oceans wide, eternity.

Of nights I weep, both joy and fear,

Wrapped in the words you’ll never hear.

Will you know my trembling hand,

The strength it took to help you stand?

A love so fierce, yet held so near,

Born in the words you’ll never hear.

Your first soft laugh, your sleepy cries,

The wonder held within your eyes.

Each promise stitched, each hope sincere,

Woven with words you’ll never hear.

And should the world feel dark or cold,

Remember, child, you’re made of gold.

Each bond unbroken, each star so clear,

They hum the words you’ll never hear.

Though silence holds this fleeting space,

Your life will bloom with gentle grace.

And even if I’m not quite near,

I’ve given the words you’ll never hear.
