As he departed, he clasped my right hand gently,
A tender press, like a whisper of solace,
An unspoken vow danced in that moment,
As if his silent words wrapped around us,
And in that soft touch, a world was shared,
A promise woven into the fabric of our parting.
His hand on mine, a balm for my spirit,
A soothing presence that lightens my path,
In the gentle embrace of that farewell,
My journey feels less burdensome,
Supported by the echo of his warmth,
A majestic reminder, a comfort in the solitude.
A poem I wrote 2-3 years back in my fifteens. I just thought of posting it so that the world can hear it.
