The Wait

"A Moment's Pause at the Bus Stop"

By sudha mdPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

The bus stop stands, a patient friend,

Where strangers meet, and moments blend,

The wait begins, a test of time,

As wheels await, and hearts entwine.

The clock ticks slow, the minutes creep,

As footsteps fade, and silence deep,

The bus's hum, a distant sound,

Hope revives, as wheels spin round.

The doors swing open, a welcoming space,

A new journey starts, a fresh pace,

The wait is done, the ride begins,

As strangers bond, and stories spin.
