Imagine - listening to his sweet melodic voice imparting words of love. But it comes to your realisation that you'll only understand the speech if the voices in your head quiet down from battling with the complexities of love.
Then you think, 'That was a sweet obscurity',
Maybe you dealt with fear your whole life that you became an uncomplicated target to torment.
Love is harsh~
It's hard to say I need you enough. Except I need the voices more to battle the wars~

The delusions being fed into your mind can also be a caution rather than a fantasy. Thanks for reading everyone!

Love is a blessing and a curse. Peace reigns when love is kind, but can be a heck of a bother when problems arise. Which is almost all the time.
Artistically beautiful. Well done Kodah!
It may tell us more than we know. Great poem Kodah!
And that is why I love being delusional! Loved your poem!
Agree. Love can be harsh. This was so good and well written.
hmm brilliant food for thought. If you understand the emotions and the voices as tools to bring you into awareness with yourself and your fears, then you're already on the good track to healing.
A caution blown up to disproportionate zeal.
Your poem captures that realization that there are more voices involved in love than those of the parties involved; one of the loudest, and most problematic, is the voice of the past.
