The Universe

I tried to teach you, but you could not learn.

Abstract Abyss, by Brandy Lara

The universe was speaking, but you did not hear.

I tried to teach you, but you could not learn.

I tried to teach you to see what I did, but you were so closed you became blind.

You were so cold you could not feel all the warmth that it held for you.

I stopped speaking; I was wasting my breath.

You could not hear the same as me.

The universe speaks to me, and I thought it spoke to you too.

If you could see it as I do, the future would be clear and you could understand.

The patterns, the paths, the wisdom surrounding all that we are.

The universe speaks volumes. It screams out truths.

All you have to do is listen.

The universe was speaking, but you did not hear.

I tried to teach you, but you could not learn.
