My dear old folks mother and father…

Why my hand that reached out to you all these years is pushed back and slapped?

I may say words that I don’t mean, but those words are pain caused by your actions and provocations..

It doesn’t mean that I’m not sorry, I repeat that daily..

All procedures and surgeries you have went through, I’ve been there for you…

But you didn’t see me, like a shadow who’s around and not mentioned…

Why you choose her or him instead of me, whom distanced from you and your love…

They buy of their yearly guilt for forgetting you by sending gifts and clothes…

Does that bring you joy?

Your old and grey hair will lay at my presence forever and ever…

Not they will be who will be in your future…

Not they will be who will be in your sorrow…

Not they will be who will be holding your shaking hands…

Not they will be who will be standing up for you…

But instead long hated and unappreciated son, who hopes and cares for your heath and joy!
