The Unfinished Symphony

A Love Song Cut Short

The music lingers, a haunting fragment in the air,

A love song unfinished, a melody filled with despair.

Each note, a teardrop, falling on the score,

A story untold, of dreams forevermore.

Your touch, a lingering crescendo, fading in the breeze,

Leaving violins weeping, and cellos on their knees.

The conductor stands frozen, baton raised in despair,

The symphony of love, left hanging in the air.

Will the music ever find its voice, rise above the pain?

Can the orchestra mend, and play a joyful refrain?

Or will the final note echo, a symphony incomplete,

A love story unfinished, forever bittersweet?
