The Truest Lie

My heart cries for your heart.

My heart cries for your heart

for the sorrows that it carries

for the blood that they suck out of you

for the pills and potions that pollute your veins

they make you lose your sane

unable to protect you from yourself

you were a ruler once

now you choose to live in vain

they make you lose your greatness

where has your mind traveled my baby

Did you get this far to go backwards again

Have you lost your faith?

How do you bring yourself in this place?

What can bring you back to your loving space?

Look for your light

You’ll find your right self

Look deeper than you dare

Show that you care about what You need

and not the rest

think about You and how You feel

and not a goddamn second less

Trust your voice

be true to yourself

Baby you are deeper and brighter than an ocean of gold

Your mind is wider than the galaxies in tenfold

Only You can fulfill yourself

couldn’t protect you from yourself

Can I tell you that you’re worth much more

than this shallow living hell

You are a multi faceted diamond among a bunch of flat stones

Cut em loose with your sharp tone

Let your hurt out

Don’t be scared to scrape your scars open and

clean the wounds out

I know what pain feels like

Take the hard road baby,

go through the fear of feeling it all,

the pain and the love

It’s gentle and it’s rough

Take it all in & let it all go

Your heart will tell you you’re not fine

but that ain’t real

it’s just a dream, sit through it and let it fly by

Now wake up and feel alive

Baby you’re the truest lie
