The true love and lover I never want to meet again

I was in so much agony that I didn't think it would ever end.

The true love and lover I never want to meet again,

For all they brought me was heartache and pain.

I thought it was fate, that we were meant to be,

But in the end, they were just not meant for me.

Their words were sweet, like honey on my tongue,

But their actions were sour, like a lemon that stung.

I fell for their charm, hook, line, and sinker,

But little did I know, they were just a heartbreaker.

Now I'm dancing to a new tune, free from their grasp,

No longer living in fear of their love's deadly gasp.

I'm happy and content, living life on my own,

For the true love I seek will make my heart sing and moan.

So let that old lover stay in the past,

For a new one will come, with love that will last.

Until then, I'll enjoy my single life with glee,

And the true love and lover I'll wait for patiently.
