Maybe he’s watching for where I’ll land;
I could go pony, messy bun, or half up and fanned.
But he’s staring as I browse for scrunchies on my wrist.
He looks up full of shocking disgust and says with a twist—
“I can’t be with someone that doesn’t have a favorite hair band.”
