The Trees Drink Our Tears

A Poem

The sky bursts in amazing anger and light.

And yet provides release for suffering in silence the loudness of thunder.

The flash and rain mimicking the anger and grief of the Gods so perfectly.

Providing solace and instilling fear in humans below…

And yet stillness after the storm is more disturbing and comforting than the calm before the storm because there is the knowing of the coming that is to come much stronger than before….

The trees drink our tears… the Gods tears…. and alights upon lightning strikes which burn away the dead debris of our toxicity.

And after the storm, we feel healed.
