The Three Laughing Monks - A Poetic Tale of Joy and Laughter
Three Laughing Monks: A Poetic Ode to Joyful Laughter
The Three Laughing Monks - A Poetic Tale of Joy and Laughter
Once in ancient China's embrace,
Three monks, their names withheld in grace.
Known as Laughing Monks, they roamed free,
Spreading laughter, a joyful spree.
In villages, they took their stand,
Their laughter echoed through the land.
People couldn't resist the cheer,
A laughing crowd, far and near.
No words they spoke, no teachings shared,
Just laughter's joy, love brightly flared.
Their presence brought a newfound mirth,
Spiritual guides of boundless worth.
Life, they claimed, a cosmic jest,
An opportunity, they'd attest.
With laughter, they unveiled the truth,
A cosmic joke, our souls aloof.
Years they wandered, laughter spread wide,
Hearts lifted, and spirits untied.
Until one day, a monk's breath ceased,
The villagers came, grief released.
Expecting sorrow, tears to pour,
Instead, they heard laughter's encore.
The two monks laughed, stronger, bolder,
For their friend's soul, they felt no colder.
A bet he made, the one now gone,
That he'd be first, the race was on.
His testament, a simple plea,
"To leave me pure, let laughter be."
The pyre lit, his garments burned,
And fireworks in colors turned.
A spectacle of joy and glee,
Released into eternity.
In life, they taught a truth so rare,
That laughter frees us from despair.
To face our troubles, deep and grave,
With laughter's light, our souls can save.
So mirror this, my dear, and see,
The laughter's gift, the joy it frees.
In life's embrace, let laughter bloom,
A dance of joy, dispelling gloom.
This tale of Three Laughing Monks,
Through time, its wisdom never shrinks.
Embrace the joy, let laughter sway,
And live your life in bliss each day.
