Healing Pains

For the moments of my life where everything has been

so harsh,

so turbulent,

so inconsistent,

and so broken,

Finding you and the softness of your affection,

your tenderness,

your laughter,

and your love somehow,

Is so easily soothing over every crack,

Softening every curve,

Untangling every twist,

and nurturing every wound

in the most painfully healing way possible

and I don't know if to run,

Run as far aways as I can

Because I'm terrified at how easily you can crumble every smooth surface in my heart that you've created.

Yet, I want to stay,

Because very sharp, broken piece of my soul yearns for you to mend back into place.

Because I'm terrified at how easily you can crumble every smooth surface in my heart that you've created. This is a fear I'd always have. Your poem was so relatable. I loved it!
