Rosy cheeks

Curling blonde hair

A heart so tender

It could choke on air

Stumbling and falling

Seeking what she’d never find

A love so true

It seemed divine

But what if I were to tell you

The secret to life is not love

Instead it’s in learning that true love

Would never fill you up

So hear me when I tell you

That you are enough

And finding someone to love you

Is just a cherry on the top

So whisper away your sorrows

And dream not of love

Of a mate

For the moon never caught up to her soul’s song

The sun never could seem to wait

Your tender heart is still beating

Bruised and stumbling though it may

Let it breathe in the air’s unveiling

Let it show you

Your true life awaits
