(For my brothers and sisters with Bipolar - CD 08/02/22)

---

I stare awhile into the back-yard land,

At peace, at last, since sun has banished storm,

And wave away the Stranger with my hand.

-

I feel his ice-hot presence leave my form.

Beyond the trees that hide the railway track,

At peace, at last, since sun has banished storm.

-

I wish confusion for His journey back,

Or else that He gets lost in wandering rings,

Beyond the trees that hide the railway track,

-

That no mind's found to store His poisonous things.

I hope that He disperses into light,

Or else that He gets lost in wandering rings.

-

That ever-tempest, constant fight-or-flight,

with lifeless thoughts that He leaves in his wake,

I hope that He disperses into light.

-

To calm my mind for my own future's sake,

I stare awhile into the backyard land,

with lifeless thoughts that He leaves in his wake,

And wave away the Stranger with my hand.
